Two student research teams from the SpaceTop Center have been awarded the Global Innovation Award (Minister’s Award) at ICT Challenge 2025, ranking among the top 5 out of 206 participating teams. Notably, Team Midas won the First Prize.
- Team Midas (KAIST – Changsung Lim, Yeonsu Kim, Yohan Yoon) showcased MidasRing, a ring-shaped input device that detects finger–surface friction, enabling intuitive manipulation and input on everyday surfaces.
- Team Zepeto (KAIST – Youngin Kim, Kyunghwan Kim, Taejun Kim) presented ConCon, a practical 3-DoF force-feedback device attachable to existing controllers.
