SpaceTop Center Student Teams Win Minister’s Award at ICT Challenge 2025

Two student research teams from the SpaceTop Center have been awarded the Global Innovation Award (Minister’s Award) at ICT Challenge 2025, ranking among the top 5 out of 206 participating teams. Notably, Team Midas won the First Prize.

  • Team Midas (KAIST – Changsung Lim, Yeonsu Kim, Yohan Yoon) showcased MidasRing, a ring-shaped input device that detects finger–surface friction, enabling intuitive manipulation and input on everyday surfaces.
  • Team Zepeto (KAIST – Youngin Kim, Kyunghwan Kim, Taejun Kim) presented ConCon, a practical 3-DoF force-feedback device attachable to existing controllers.
