The research goals of this center are as follows:

To develop XR HCI core technology to realize SpaceTop, an XR space that enables users to use productivity applications anytime, anywhere, as a part of daily life.

To achieve this goal, we develop natural spatial interface techniques and novel interaction devices to achieve the efficiency and satisfaction of existing physical workspaces in an XR environment. We also identify and solve problems with SpaceTop in situations where multiple users collaborate, and address challenges to make SpaceTop accessible to a wider variety of users and everyday activities.

Accordingly, we conduct the following four subprojects.
